MORE PAIN, MOUR GAIN New boss Jose Mourinho lines up FIVE double training sessions in a week to whip Manchester United stars into shape

Ex-Chelsea manager wants his Old Trafford stars in perfect shape for their pre-season tour of China in a fortnight

JOSE MOURINHO is putting the Manchester United squad through their paces early on – with FIVE double training sessions planned next week.
The United chief wants his players in top shape before they head of for their pre-season tour of China in two weeks time.

The United first-team players are slowly returning from their summer holiday after training started on Monday.
A Carrington source said: "The players were not happy when LVG used to throw in the occasional double session.
"Things feel different already under Jose though. The players realise they need to get a good pre-season under their belts.
"They have a tough season ahead and it's going to be ice baths all round."

Meanwhile, Mourinho is also thought to be angry by the state of Carrington, which has TWO different buildings developments ongoing.
Diggers moved in earlier this week to start work on new artificial pitches for the Under-21 squad to train on.
The training facilities will be built throughout the coming weeks at a cost of £3m after being delayed last summer.
