Mino Raiola has already brokered deals for two of his clients, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, to join United this summer but has suggested Pogba is not desperate to follow them.
He confirmed "several big clubs are in pursuit of his services" then added: "There is a lot of talk about Paul's future but maybe he will not leave Juventus. He is in no rush to leave and Juventus do not want him to go - they want him to renew his contract.
"Paul is not desperate to move. We are very happy at Juventus and they are a club that want to keep their star players."
Juventus, the Italian champions for the last four seasons, have offered Pogba a new five-year deal which would bring his salary up to at least £130,000 per week and Riola's comments are clearly designed to pile the pressure on United.
New boss Jose Mourinho has made no secret he wants Pogba as his fourth and final summer arrival after signing Eric Bailly, striker Ibrahimovic and midfielder Mkhitaryan.
And United are understood to be prepared to offer Juve a world-record £105m - £80m down and £25m in add-ons - to secure the return to Old Trafford of the France international, who left the club as a free agent four years ago, frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities. They would also double the contract put on the table by Juve.
Pogba, who will now take a three-week holiday in a bid to overcome the disappointment of France's 1-0 defeat by Portugal in the final of Euro 2016, is also wanted by Real Madrid, but they are unlikely to be able to match United's bid.
Meanwhile, Luke Shaw is set to give Mourinho a boost by making his comeback following 10 months out with a broken leg when United kick-off their pre-season preparations at Wigan on Saturday.
Left back Shaw - a target for Mourinho when he was Chelsea boss and the player was at Southampton - has trained throughout the summer to rebuild his fitness after a suffering sickening double fracture in the opening Champions League group game against PSV Eindhoven last September.
