Borrusia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is pushing to join Real Madrid.
Marca says even if Madrid have already splurged on Alvaro Morata ahead of the new season, the attacker wants to make the move south with Dortmund informing Los Merengues that they are his ideal destination, should an acceptable offer be tabled.
Negotiations are yet to advance to a serious stage, but they'll benefit from a good relationship held amongst the Real hierarchy and Dortmund's president, Reinhard Rauball, and sporting director, Michael Zorc.
Whether a sale can be pulled off in the final hours of the transfer window remains to be seen, should Aubameyang stay in Germany, he'll target Robert Lewandowski's Bundesliga top scorer crown , and reiterate his Bernabeu dreams soon after.
