One of the biggest transfer stories of the summer has been Arsenal’s (and West Ham’s) pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain.
And now Plivier Giroud seems to be looking to take full advantage of the rumours ansd secure a move to one of Italy's biggest clubs.
RaiSport journalist Ciro Venerato says Arsene Wenger has offered Napoli £42.2m plus Giroud for Higuian.
The Frenchman's agent Mickael Manuello has now added fuel to the fire saying the Frenchman would love life in Naples.
"If he was asked to leave, then we would ecaluate our options.
"There is no fear in Olivier possibly going to Napoli, it is a magnificent city.
"In Campania, my client could lead a wonderful life, not to mention that the type of game orchestrated by Napoli coach [ Maurizio] Sarri could enhance the quality of a centre-forward like him."
Higuain scored a record-breaking 36 goals in Serie A last season.
But some Arsenal fans may wonder if it is worth paying £42.2m to swap one guy who flopped in a mahor international final for another.
