Jonas Hector backed to sign for Liverpool

Money has been placed on Germany full-back Jonas Hector completing a move to Liverpool, according to the Trading Director of BetStars.
BetStars have placed FC Koln's Hector at 3/1 to complete a move to Anfield in this transfer window.
Hector, 26, has been in impressive form for Germany at Euro 2016 and once again starred for his national side during their 1-0 victory over Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
But it remains to be seen as to whether Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will make a move for his compatriot.
Liverpool are clearly in need of recruitment at the back and it's likely that Klopp will continue to change the dynamic of his defence.Current first-choice left-back Alberto Moreno flattered to deceive on too many occasions.
DEFENSIVE STRUGGLES
Current first-choice left-back Alberto Moreno flattered to deceive on too many occasions last term and was notably below-par during the club's Europa League final defeat at the hands of Sevilla.
Reports today indicated that Liverpool have had a £5 million offer for Leicester City youngster Ben Chilwell rejected, but perhaps they could yet turn their attentions to Hector. Punters of BetStars certainly appear to believe that a transfer could happen.
"After two impressive performances as part of a Germany team that is yet to concede a goal at Euro 2016, we've seen a bit of money come in for left back Jonas Hector to sign for Liverpool," said Ian Marmion, Trading Director of BetStars.
"Rumours suggest Jurgen Klopp is looking to sure up his defence this summer and as a result the man they call 'Mr. Reliable' is now 3/1 to head to Anfield this summer."
GOTZE?
Before the tournament started, the Liverpool faithful's eyes were firmly fixed on a different German; Mario Gotze.
The technically gifted playmaker had been heavily linked with a move to the Merseyside club, but it's now seemingly unlikely that a deal will materialise. In fact, everything is now pointing to him staying at Bayern Munich.
Perhaps, then, Liverpool fans will now forget about Gotze and keep a close eye on Hector over the coming weeks. Germany are set for their Round of 16 clash on Sunday and will find out their next opponent after Wednesday's final group games.
